Job summary

Prolegion is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing. The role focuses on Web and Mobile testing, automation script development, and ensuring high-quality software deliverables.

You will work across Agile teams, design comprehensive test cases, and contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting. Strong knowledge of Selenium, Appium, and Playwright is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional QA experience.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Playwright, TestNG, and POM.
• Responsible for testing web and mobile applications, developing automation scripts, executing test cases, and ensuring software quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases, scenarios, and data.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for web and mobile apps.
• Execute automation suites and analyze test execution results.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product teams to resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and stand-ups.

We are looking for a Skilled QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have Hands-on Experience in Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Playwright (JavaScript), TestNG Framework, and Page Object Model (POM). The candidate will be Responsible for Testing Web and Mobile Applications, Developing Automation Scripts, Executing test cases, and ensuring the Quality of Software Deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and User Stories.
2. Design, prepare, and execute Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Data.
3. Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and System Testing.
4. Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
5. Develop and Maintain Automation scripts for Web and Mobile Applications.
6. Execute automation suites and analyze test execution results.
7. Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
8. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
9. Prepare Test Execution Reports and Test Summary Reports.

Technical Skills Required

Web Automation (Selenium)

• Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium Locators, WebDriver Commands, Waits, Actions Class, and JavaScript Executor.
• Experience in TestNG Framework (Annotations, Assertions, Data Providers, Listeners, and Reporting).
• Experience in Page Object Model (POM) Framework.
• Knowledge of Maven Build Management Tool.
• Experience in Automation Framework Maintenance and Enhancement.

Mobile Automation (Appium)

• Hands-on experience in Appium Automation.
• Experience in Android Mobile Application Testing.
• Knowledge of Appium Inspector and Mobile Element Identification.
• Experience in Mobile Gestures such as Swipe, Scroll, and Tap.
• Experience in Real Device and Emulator Testing.

Playwright Automation

• Hands-on experience in Playwright using JavaScript.
• Experience in Web UI Automation and End-to-End Testing.
• Strong understanding of Playwright Locators, Assertions, and Auto-Wait Mechanism.
• Experience in Cross-Browser Testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit).
• Knowledge of Playwright Test Runner and Reporting.
• Experience in implementing Page Object Model (POM) in Playwright.
• Basic experience in API Testing using Playwright.
