Job summary

HireFlexperts is seeking an enthusiastic QA professional to test web and mobile apps, design and run tests, and build automation scripts. You will work in an Agile team with developers, analysts, and product managers to ensure high quality releases.

You will perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing, track defects with Jira, and contribute to automation efforts using Selenium, Playwright, and Appium. 2+ years of QA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of QA experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC/ STLC and defect life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications; develop and maintain automation scripts.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira.
• Execute automation test suites and analyze results.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, PMs and stakeholders to improve quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and produce test reports.

Job description

The candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, developing and maintaining automation scripts, executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to identify testing requirements.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and System Testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools such as Jira.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Execute automation test suites and analyze test execution results.
• Investigate test failures and collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues.
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to improve product quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and test summary reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills

Manual Testing

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Good understanding of test case design and execution.
• Hands‑on experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration Testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify positive, negative, and edge‑case scenarios.

Web Automation Selenium

• Hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
• Experience with TestNG, including:
• Annotations
• Assertions
• Data Providers
• Listeners
• Reporting
• Hands‑on experience with Page Object Model (POM).
• Knowledge of Maven build management.
• Experience in maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks.
• Experience handling dynamic elements and synchronization issues.
• Hands‑on experience with Appium automation.
• Experience testing Android mobile applications.
• Knowledge of Appium Inspector and mobile element identification.
• Experience automating mobile gestures such as tap, swipe, and scroll.
• Experience testing applications on real devices and emulators.
• Experience in web UI automation and end‑to‑end testing.
• Strong understanding of Playwright locators, assertions, and auto‑waiting.
• Knowledge of Playwright Test Runner and reporting.
• Experience implementing Page Object Model (POM) using Playwright.
• Basic experience with API testing using Playwright is preferred.
