Job summary

Indus Parking Services in Gurugram is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software applications. The role involves manual and automated testing, creating test artifacts, and collaborating with developers to resolve defects before deployment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of software testing experience, strong English communication, and hands-on skills with Playwright/Selenium, Postman, SQL, Python and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of experience in software testing / quality assurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Performing manual and automated testing.

Indus Parking Services (IPS) is an emerging parking enforcement company headquartered in Gurugram, India. Our team consists of highly focused and motivated professionals with extensive expertise in parking management. We specialise in preventing unauthorised parking across commercial properties, residential complexes, and various other sites. Indus Parking Services manages the entire parking enforcement process efficiently and provides operational support to Euro Parking Services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic QA Engineer to join us and ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software applications.

As a QA Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing manual and automated testing.
• Creating test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs, and coordinating with developers for resolution.
• Conducting functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and performance testing.
• Ensuring product quality before deployment.
• Coordinating with the development team for bug resolution.
• Maintaining testing documentation.

Technical Skills and Tools Required:

• Manual Testing: Functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• API Testing: Postman and REST API testing.
• Database: Writing and executing SQL queries.
• Automation: Playwright / Selenium.
• Third-Party and Payment Gateway Integration Testing.
• GIT: Working knowledge of version control.
• Bug Reporting: Clear documentation, tracking, and follow-up of defects.
• Chrome Dev Tools: Using browser developer tools for debugging and troubleshooting.
• Browser Testing: Testing application compatibility, functionality, and responsiveness across browsers.
• Programming Languages: Working knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
• Agile/Scrum: Understanding of Agile practices, Scrum ceremonies, and team workflows.
