Job summary

Intrics Solutions in India is seeking a QA specialist with deep QA knowledge and the ability to articulate QA concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will collaborate with developers, product and project managers to embed QA practices throughout the software development lifecycle and stay current with industry trends and automation opportunities.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Must have software quality assurance knowledge.
• Should have a deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and technologies relevant to the industry.
• Well-versed in industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA
• Candidate should be able to articulate ideas, concepts, and best practices clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Should have the ability to influence and persuade others to adopt QA best practices. This includes effectively communicating the value of QA processes, methodologies.
• The candidate can collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of QA practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Should be a quick learner.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge in software QA including test plan development,documentation, and feedback mechanisms.
• Knowledge of Agile teams and familiarity with all Agile ceremonies and principles.
• Knowledge of following is preferred:

1. Automated testing frameworks such as Playright and Selenium
2. Microsoft Test Plans and Azure Dev Ops
3. Knowledge of web design, HTML5, and CSS
4. Design tools such as InVision or Adobe XD
5. SQL Server 2016
6. Knowledge of python (will be a plus)

Additional Qualifications

• Understanding of the software development life-cycle,
• Understanding of various test runner platforms.
• Knowledge of web development, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and browser compatibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
