Job summary

Iris Software is seeking a QA Automation SDET Lead with 9-10 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Engineering. The role focuses on building scalable Java automation frameworks, API testing with REST Assured, and strong Capital Markets domain expertise.

You will design and maintain automated tests in an Agile/DevOps environment, emphasizing backend and legacy system validation. Proficiency in Core Java, OOP, design patterns, and CI/CD is required, along with experience in regulatory

Qualifications

• 9-10 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Engineering with strong expertise in SDET and Java Automation.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using Java.
• Strong Capital Markets domain experience.
• Strong hands-on coding skills in Java, with solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and coding best practices.
• Extensive experience in API automation testing using REST Assured and backend/service-layer validation.
• Strong expertise in SQL, database testing, data validation, and reconciliation testing.
• Experience automating backend, legacy systems, batch processes, and enterprise integrations in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Prior experience in Regulatory Reporting, particularly across regulations such as ASIC, CSA, CFTC, ESMA, and FCA.
• If direct Regulatory Reporting experience is not available, then strong Capital Markets domain knowledge, especially in OTC Derivatives products, is essential.
