Job summary

NomiSo, Inc in Hyderabad is seeking a QA automation engineer to design and maintain resilient automation suites for web and mobile, using TypeScript and Playwright, with Appium for mobile platforms. You will craft robust, non-brittle tests and translate requirements into executable automation.

You will bridge manual and automated testing, identify flaky tests, and collaborate with CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, and leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Build & Maintain Resilient Suites: Own end-to-end automation for both web and native mobile platforms using robust, non-brittle design patterns.

• Bridge Manual & Automated Testing: Turn complex product requirements and exploratory scenarios into clean, executable, automation-ready test cases.
• Innovate with AI: Integrate AI coding assistants into your daily engineering workflow to move faster and optimize testing strategies.

What You Bring

• Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on delivery in QA and test automation engineering.
• Web Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in TypeScript and extensive experience building frameworks with Playwright.
• Mobile Tech Stack: Hands-on experience automating native Android and iOS applications using Appium.
• DevOps & Tooling: Proficient with Git (including strict PR reviews) and running/configuring automation within Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Testing Fundamentals: A strong foundation in manual and exploratory testing-knowing what to automate is just as important as knowing how.
