Job summary

Sutherland is seeking a Testing Engineer skilled in manual and automation testing with foundational AI knowledge. The role focuses on ensuring quality and reliability of applications through test planning, execution, and automation, incorporating AI-driven testing where applicable.

You will design and maintain automation scripts (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright), create test cases, execute cycles, report defects, and collaborate with developers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 26 years of experience in software testing (L2 level).
• Strong experience in manual testing concepts and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in automation testing (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright or similar).
• Experience in API testing (Postman/REST Assured or similar tools).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of AI/ML concepts and exposure to AI-driven testing tools.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java / Python / JavaScript).
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
