Job summary

Molex, a Koch company, seeks a QA Engineer (Salesforce) to ensure quality across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. You will leverage Playwright and TypeScript to drive automation, participate in an Agile team, and promote AI-enabled testing practices.

You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Salesforce admins to build scalable testing practices and improve software quality throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for test automation.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, user management, permissions, roles, reports and dashboards.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and Agile development processes.

Responsibilities

• Validate Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud to ensure business requirements are met with high quality.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, and test plans that provide effective functional and regression coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, clarify requirements, and ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support automation initiatives by developing and maintaining Playwright-based automated test suites using TypeScript.
• Contribute to expanding automation coverage and improving test efficiency through reusable frameworks and best practices.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.
• Support testing activities within CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable software releases.
• Act as a quality advocate by promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the team.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud applications.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for test automation.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, user management, permissions, roles, profiles, reports, dashboards, and business processes.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and Agile development processes.
