Job summary

Molex Bengaluru is seeking a QA Engineer (Salesforce) to ensure the quality of Salesforce applications across Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Clouds. You will apply functional testing and Playwright-based automation in a fast-paced Agile environment with AI-enabled testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Validate Salesforce modules across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Develop test strategies, test scenarios, and test plans for functional and regression coverage.
• Perform functional, integration, smoke, sanity, and regression tests to ensure stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and embed quality.
• Drive defect identification, root cause analysis, and quality documentation.
• Support automation initiatives by developing and maintaining Playwright-based automated test suites using TypeScript.
• Contribute to expanding automation coverage and improving test efficiency.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and provide actionable feedback.
• Support testing activities within CI/CD pipelines for faster releases.

Your Job

As a QA Engineer (Salesforce), you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. You will leverage your expertise in functional testing and test automation to validate business-critical solutions while helping drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Our Team

You will join a collaborative Quality Engineering team that partners closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Salesforce administrators to deliver high-quality solutions. The team is focused on building scalable testing practices, increasing automation coverage, and continuously improving software quality through innovation and customer-centric thinking.

What You Will Do

• Validate Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud to ensure business requirements are met with high quality.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, and test plans that provide effective functional and regression coverage.
• Perform functional, integration, smoke, sanity, and regression testing to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, clarify requirements, and ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive defect identification, root cause analysis, validation, and resolution while maintaining high standards for issue reporting and quality documentation.
• Support automation initiatives by developing and maintaining Playwright-based automated test suites using TypeScript.
• Contribute to expanding automation coverage and improving test efficiency through reusable frameworks and best practices.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.
• Support testing activities within CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable software releases.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish effective test data management strategies and ensure appropriate Salesforce environment readiness for testing activities.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and innovative testing approaches to improve testing productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Act as a quality advocate by promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the team.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce functional testing.
• Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud applications.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for test automation.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, user management, permissions, roles, profiles, reports, dashboards, and business processes.
• Experience creating, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience validating application data.
• Experience using testing and project management tools such as JIRA and Xray.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and Agile development processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Salesforce Administrator Certification.
• Experience with Salesforce Agentforce capabilities and AI-driven Salesforce features.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution frameworks.
• Experience designing automation frameworks and improving test automation coverage.
