Job description

Role & Responsibilities

You’ll be the architect and guardian of quality across the company's product suite, working alongside product dev, QA, and PM teams to proactively define, advocate, and scale a best-in-class testing ethos.

Key Responsibilities

• Define own testing strategy for G1 suite of products across ERP, POS, Zwing, Browntape, Reporting products.
• Lead end-to-end test execution across manual, automation, performance, and security domains.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks, selection, guidelines, metrics, CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, DevOps to integrate quality measures into the pipeline, from sprint backlog to release.
• Foster quality culture via QA guilds, retrospectives, cross-functional workshops, knowledge sharing.
• Establish quality KPIs (e.g. defect leakage, automation coverage, test pass rates) and report to CTO and Leadership.
• Monitor and improve test effectiveness with metrics, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor QA engineers, upskill for best practices, tooling, automation techniques.
• Ensure compliance and readiness for external audits, regulatory requirements and production rollouts.

Minimum Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT experience in Quality Assurance / Testing roles.
• Experience owning end-to-end testing strategy for product platforms, covering Manual, Automation, Performance, and Security testing.
• 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS preferably working in microservices-driven environments.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing 5-6 members in QA / Testing teams.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks (Robot Framework highly preferred).
• Hands‑on exposure to CI/CD integration of automated tests using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Experience in at least one of the following domains: ERP / POS / OMS (ERP is a strong plus).
• Based in Gurgaon or nearby locations.

Preferred Experience

• Worked on products from scratch and seen the entire SDLC end-to-end (requirement, development, testing, release, production).
• QA certifications such as ISTQB, CQM, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to build strong collaborations across QA, PM, and engineering.
• Experience with performance/security testing tools (JMeter, Locust, OWASP ZAP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Excellent communication skills to translate strategic vision into actionable roadmaps.
