What You'll Do
  • Define and champion QA standards, principles, and best practices across the GenAI portfolio.
  • Analyse product and feature requirements to determine the right level and type of test coverage needed.
  • Oversee the structure, priority, and delivery of automated test suites across multiple GenAI projects.
  • Coach developers and product managers on quality thinking, helping them make better decisions independently.
  • Challenge teams on gaps in test coverage — including edge cases, regression risk, and integration points.
  • Track and report on test health, coverage metrics, and quality trends across the team's delivery pipeline.
  • Write automated or manual tests where needed to set standards, unblock delivery, or validate critical paths.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in QA, test engineering, or quality assurance within software delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex product functionality deeply.
  • Proven experience defining QA strategies and automated test approaches for cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Pytest, or Cypress.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to challenge and influence without being adversarial.
  • Comfort working remotely with a UK-based manager and collaborating across UK/Europe time zones.
  • Experience in AI, GenAI, data engineering, or CI/CD pipeline integration is a strong advantage.
Location

This role is based in India with a hybrid working arrangement. You will collaborate daily with a UK-based Engineering Manager and the wider UK/Europe delivery team. Reasonable overlap with UK working hours is expected.
