Satcon Technologies is recruiting a senior backend engineer in Hyderabad to deliver enterprise-grade applications. You will own backend development with Python as the core skill, building services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and integrating robust REST APIs with strong OOP.

Expect collaboration with frontend teams and a focus on performance, testing, and production readiness. The role requires 6+ years in software engineering, hands-on Python expertise, and experience within Agile

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise-scale apps.
• Strong hands-on Python development as the backend skill.
• Experience with Python frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, Django.
• Experience with REST APIs, OOP, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Full-stack exposure with React or Angular as a secondary skill.
• Active involvement in Agile delivery environments and production-quality software.
• Experience in BFSI/financial services domain.

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably working on complex, enterprise-scale applications.
  Strong hands-on Python development experience as the primary backend skill.
  Experience developing backend applications and services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or equivalent.
  Good understanding of REST APIs, object-oriented programming, error handling, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  Full-stack development exposure with React, Angular, or an equivalent modern UI framework as a secondary skill.
  Strong understanding of software engineering principles, clean coding practices, application design, and production troubleshooting.
  Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, drive technical tasks/projects, and take accountability for delivery and outcomes.
  Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  Experience working in Agile delivery environments with exposure to development, code reviews, testing, releases, and production-quality software delivery.
  Experience in financial services, banking, BFSI, investment management, financial markets, or capital markets.
