Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design and implement test automation for embedded devices. The role focuses on Python-based automated tests, scalable frameworks, and mentorship of QA staff to ensure high-quality delivery and reduced project risks.

The candidate will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to understand specifications, develop comprehensive work plans, and maintain rigorous testing environments for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage in functional and technical discussions with clients and team members to understand specifications, identify performance concerns, and prepare automated test scripts for embedded devices, maintaining an up-to-date test case suite and test environments.
• Develop and continuously improve automated tests in Python for embedded systems as features are introduced, create work plans, and monitor progress for timely delivery while meeting quality standards.
• Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Python, develop test strategies and plans, maintain accurate test data, and generate status reports to minimize project risks and manage escalations.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers in leveraging the testing framework, enhance their skills in embedded device testing, and improve team productivity through knowledge sharing.

• 1.
