Happiest Minds Technologies in Pune is seeking an Embedded Test Automation Engineer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in embedded testing and Python-based automation. The role requires working with MCU architectures like ARM Cortex and nRF52, and validating BLE, UART, SPI, and I2C protocols.

The candidate will contribute to test harness development, regression and system-level validation, and CI/CD automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Embedded testing and Python automation.
• Hands-on with Pytest and Robot Framework.
• Experience with MCU architecture including ARM Cortex and nRF52.
• Familiar with GPIO/UART/SPI/I2C, interrupts and timers.
• BLE protocol testing and GATT validation.
• Firmware flashing, OTA validation, and regression testing.
• UART/RTT logs and automated log analysis.
• Test harness development and system-level validation.
• Git/GitHub and CI/CD automation experience.

Job Description

Job Description: Embedded Test Automation Engineer

Experience Range - 5 -8 Years

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in Embedded testing, Python-based test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Pytest and Robot Framework.
• Experience in embedded systems testing and validation.
• Understanding of MCU architecture, including ARM Cortex and nRF52.
• Knowledge of GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, interrupts, timers, and watchdogs.
• Experience in communication protocol testing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with BDD using Cucumber or Behave.
• Experience testing UART, SPI, I2C, and BLE protocols.
• BLE testing, including scanning, advertising, connection stability, GATT validation, and data exchange.
• Firmware flashing, debugging, upgrade validation, and OTA validation.
• Experience with UART/RTT logs, packet-level debugging, and automated log analysis.
• Experience in test harness development, regression testing, functional testing, and system-level validation.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD automation.
