Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of Python experience, strong AWS data service knowledge and a proven track record in mentoring engineers and guiding cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as Python developer or designer.
• Advanced knowledge of Python with efficient, scalable, well-documented code.
• Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Athena, PySpark) and Snowflake.
• Design data models that meet requirements with emphasis on quality, security and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership to the data team and align with company goals.
• Collaborate with data analysts, project managers and solution architects.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster innovation and learning.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and adopt new technologies.
