Job summary

Job description

• Lead and manage cross-functional technology teams supporting Python and Generative AI initiatives


• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members


• Drive technology initiatives and ensure successful delivery of projects


• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency


• Translate business requirements into Python and Generative AI solutions


• Define or contribute to software architecture, technical designs, integration approaches, and implementation plans


• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable AI-enabled applications


• Evaluate new technologies and recommend adoption


• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy


• Manage delivery risks, dependencies, technical issues, and project priorities


• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts


• Promote engineering practices, knowledge sharing, technical documentation, and continuous improvement


• Evaluate Generative AI solutions for quality, reliability, security, privacy, cost, and responsible use


• Consider operational efficiency, resource utilization, and sustainability when selecting and implementing technology solutions


• Collaborate with stakeholders on business requirements, priorities, constraints, outcomes, designs, and delivery plans


• Participate in Agile meetings and collaborate with engineering, product, operations, security, data, and business stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, technology delivery, technology leadership, or related roles


• Strong technical expertise in Python and multiple areas of software development and technology


• Experience developing, implementing, and supporting Python-based applications


• Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts, large language models, AI solution patterns, and implementation considerations


• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and project management tools


• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns


• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure


• Knowledge of database management systems and data structures


• Experience across software development lifecycle practices, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance


• Familiarity with source control, code review, testing, documentation, and release processes


• Ability to translate business requirements into Python and Generative AI technology solutions


• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional technology teams and projects


• Ability to evaluate technology options based on business value, technical feasibility, security, cost, and maintainability


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered


• Experience with Generative AI, machine learning, data engineering, intelligent automation, or related technologies is preferred


• Certifications in cloud computing, Agile, Scrum, project management, AI, machine learning, or software architecture are preferred


• Complete Synechron-required training and maintain continuous professional development


• Understanding of secure software development, authentication, authorization, identity and access management, encryption, secrets management, and secure data handling


• Ability to consider security, privacy, and regulatory requirements during solution design and implementation


• Candidates may qualify through equivalent practical experience, relevant technical training, certifications, or a portfolio demonstrating Python and Generative AI capabilities
