Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a Python Generative AI Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered applications using LLMs, LangChain, LangGraph, and prompt engineering. The role is based in Bengaluru/Hyderabad with a hybrid work model, offering growth in GenAI and enterprise AI solutions.

You will build scalable Python backends, integrate multiple LLM platforms, and optimize prompts for performance across enterprise use cases.

Qualifications

• 4 to 9 years of hands-on Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI concepts and LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Strong expertise in Prompt Engineering and prompt optimisation.
• Experience building AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, and workflow orchestration.
• Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architecture.
• Experience with Vector Databases such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, or FAISS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend development.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Work with structured and unstructured data for AI model consumption.
• Monitor, evaluate, and fine-tune GenAI applications for performance and reliability.
