Persistent Systems is seeking a Generative AI Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications leveraging LLMs. Strong focus on React frontend and Python backend with API integrations and scalable architecture.

The role requires 5–8 years of full stack experience, proficiency in Node.js/Express, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time role across all Persistent locations with hybrid work options and cutting-edge AI projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive, and high-performance React-based frontend applications for AI-powered solutions.
• Develop intelligent agent workflows and backend services using Python.
• Build and integrate AI applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and engineering teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Integrate applications with backend services using Node.js, Express, and RESTful APIs.
• Design and develop reusable frontend and backend components that improve scalability and maintainability.
• Ensure production readiness through comprehensive testing, debugging, and quality assurance practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Implement API integrations with enterprise platforms, cloud services, and third‑party applications.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Monitor application health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Support deployment, release management, and production support activities.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
