Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced data governance professional to lead metadata management initiatives and drive Microsoft Purview implementations. You will configure classifications, scan resources, and collaborate across teams to ensure robust data governance across environments.

You will manage glossaries, mappings, and metadata relationships while supporting cloud security and compliance in Azure/AWS/GCP. Strong communication and Agile experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or related domains.
• 12 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including at least one full-scale implementation.
• Strong experience with Purview APIs, classification configuration, and resource scanning.
• Proven ability to manage glossaries, scan metadata, and associate business/technical metadata.
• Experience in the investment banking industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with cloud data security and compliance (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and AI/ML data solutions is advantageous.
• Microsoft certifications in Azure Data or Security are a plus.

Responsibilities
