Job summary

Four Seasons Bengaluru is seeking a Purchase Supervisor to oversee the Purchasing department and ensure procurement aligns with company policies and procedures. The role reports to the Senior Manager Purchase and supports timely stock availability.

You will supervise storekeeping, manage requisitions, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with health codes. Strong MS Office and POS familiarity, plus 2–3 years of purchasing experience, are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Purchase required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment, Microsoft Office Suite, and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Storekeeper to ensure items are dated, priced, and rotated.
• Process requisitions promptly in line with Storeroom hours and outlet requests.
• Extend all requisitions on a daily basis.
• Maintain perpetual liquor inventory and minimize variances.
• Ensure health code compliance in food storage areas.

Job Summary

The Purchase Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising the operation of the Purchasing department, and monitoring of the process for payment according to Four Seasons Hotels Limited policies and procedures. As an integral member of the Purchase team, individual will assist with the timely procurement of items. This role reports to the Senior Manager Purchase.

What you will do

• Supervise/work together with Storekeeper to ensure that all incoming merchandise is dated, priced, and rotated in all circumstances.


• Work together with Storekeeper to ensure that all requisitions are filled in a timely basis in accordance with Storeroom hours, and the requests of outlets.


• Extend all requisitions on a daily basis.


• Ensure perpetual inventory for all liquor is kept current and variances are at a minimum.


• Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping food storage area in strict compliance with health code regulations.


• Take note of Slow Moving Stock list at least once each month.


• Must be able to perform all duties that are usually performed by a Buyer.


• Adhere to 3 quote comparisons.


• Ensure monthly update on all FB quotes, all quotes are filed for audit accordingly.


• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels.


• Perform any additional duties as assigned.


• The ability to maintain a clean, neat and organized work area.


• The ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.


• The ability to utilize the telephones according to Four Seasons standards.

What you bring

• 2-3 years of experience in Purchase is required


• Bachelors Degree is preferred


• Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment, Microsoft Office Suite software, and POS systems is required.


• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English is preferred
