Job summary

Polyplex in India is seeking an experienced Purchase professional with 10-15 years in procurement of domestic and imported materials. You will supervise the complete Procure-to-Pay workflow and coordinate with suppliers to meet delivery timelines.

Key duties include negotiating pricing and SLAs, onboarding vendors, and preparing MIS reports using Excel. Experience in manufacturing and strong vendor management are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Purchase & Procurement.
• Experience in domestic and imported materials procurement.
• Knowledge of import documentation and Incoterms.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delivery timelines and coordinate with suppliers to resolve transit delays.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard alternate/new vendors to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare MIS reports and procurement analysis using Excel and computer applications.
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers.
• Conduct periodic vendor evaluations based on quality, delivery performance and cost competitiveness.
