Key duties include PO placement, pricing negotiations, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, production, logistics, and finance to align launches with material availability.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 25 years of procurement experience in electronics manufacturing or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of components used in Tablet PCs, Power Banks, Surge Protectors, and Audio devices.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation: identify and qualify new suppliers for components such as batteries, PCBs, casings, connectors, and audio drivers.
• Procurement & Negotiation: place purchase orders and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Inventory Management: monitor stock levels and coordinate with production planning to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Quality Assurance: verify incoming material quality against specifications and industry standards (RoHS, FCC, CE).
• Cost Control & Reporting: track purchase price variance and prepare procurement reports for management review.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with R&D, Production, Logistics, and Finance to align procurement with launches.

Responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing raw materials/components required for manufacturing products like Tablet PCs, Power Banks, Surge Protectors, and Earphones/Earbuds. Ensure timely availability, cost-effectiveness, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 1. Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation
   
   
   
   • - Identify and qualify new suppliers for components such as batteries, PCBs, casings, connectors, and audio drivers.
   
   
   • - Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance standards.
   
   
   
   


2. 2. Procurement & Negotiation
   
   
   
   • - Place purchase orders and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
   
   
   • - Secure bulk purchase agreements to optimize cost and inventory levels.
   
   
   
   


3. 3. Inventory Management
   
   
   
   • - Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production planning to avoid shortages or overstock.
   
   
   • - Implement JIT (Just-In-Time) or safety stock policies as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
