Job summary

Randstad India seeks a Purchase Executive/Sr. Executive with 6-9 years of experience in manufacturing procurement, preferably with foundry exposure, in Maharashtra.

Role covers direct/indirect purchasing, material planning, SAP S/4HANA operations, vendor development, import/export logistics and cost control to ensure a robust supply chain.

Qualifications

• Procurement & material management for direct and indirect purchases.
• SAP S/4HANA/ERP familiarity for PRs, POs, inventory tracking.
• Vendor development and import/export logistics coordination.
• Cost control and quality tools: 7QC, SPC, 8D, Why-Why analysis.
• Team leadership for shop floor and procurement manpower.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct and indirect procurement, material planning and inventory control.
• Handle maintenance procurement and liaise with maintenance team.
• Coordinate import/export logistics to ensure timely supply.
• Drive procurement budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead vendor relations and ensure a defect-free supply chain.

• Key Responsibilities
• Procurement & Material Management: Oversee direct and indirect procurement, material planning, and inventory control for domestic and import operations.
• Maintenance & Indirect Purchase: Handle end-to-end indirect purchasing specifically for foundry maintenance, serving as the direct purchase liaison for the maintenance team.
• SAP & ERP Operations: Work on SAP S/4HANA to generate Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), track inventory, and handle vault billing processes.
• Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Lead vendor development, relationship management, and coordinate import/export logistics to maintain a defect-free supply chain.
• Cost Control & Quality Management: Drive procurement budgeting, deliver cost savings, resolve customer complaints, and apply quality tools (7QC, SPC, 8D, Why-Why Analysis).
• Team Leadership: Manage shop floor and procurement manpower effectively.
