Job summary

SeaDogsIndia Pvt. Ltd. in Navi Mumbai seeks a Purchase Executive to own day-to-day procurement and stores coordination for shipbuilding and related projects. You will drive end-to-end purchasing, negotiate with vendors, manage the vendor database and ensure documentation aligns with ISO 9001 QMS.

The role offers growth by building systematic purchasing and inventory-management processes within a dedicated Procurement & Stores function.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; advantage for related fields.
• 2–4 years of purchase/procurement experience.

• Strong Excel and documentation skills.
• Ability to learn and own procurement processes.

VACANCY – PURCHASE EXECUTIVE

Location: Ulwe, Navi Mumbai

Department: Procurement & Stores of Shipbuilding & Underwater Operations Company.

Position: Purchase Executive

Experience: 2–4 years

Employment: Full-time

We are establishing a dedicated Purchase & Stores function and are looking for a capable and responsible Purchase Executive to take ownership of day-to-day procurement activities and coordinate the company's stores function. The role offers an opportunity for a procurement professional to build the systematic purchasing and inventory-management process and grow with the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end to end procurement requirements for shipbuilding, diving, salvage and underwater projects.
• Stores Coordination & Inventory management.
• Vendor database and Approved Vendor List management.
• Documentation & Reports as per ISO 9001 QMS.

Candidate’s Profile

A person who is organised, commercially aware, dependable and willing to take ownership of the procurement function. The candidate should have the ability and willingness to learn.

Qualifications –

Graduate in any discipline. Qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields will be an advantage.

Experience –

2–4 years of experience in purchase/procurement. Experience in Shipbuilding/ Ship repair/ Ship management/ Marine engineering/ Offshore/ Oil & gas/ Engineering/construction/ Industrial procurement will be preferred.

Skills –

Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email communication/ Good quotation comparison and vendor negotiation/ Strong documentation and record-keeping/ ERP/procurement/inventory software experience/ Team member.
