Job summary

Neptunus Power Plant Services Pvt. Ltd is seeking a seasoned Procurement professional in Navi Mumbai to own the entire purchase cycle from PR to delivery. You will source vendors, run RFQs, compare quotes, and negotiate terms for marine and oil & gas spares.

The role emphasizes SAP B1 data integrity, cross-functional coordination and proactive supplier management to ensure timely deliveries. 4–6 years of hands-on procurement experience is expected, with preference for marine/oil & gas exposure.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of hands-on Purchase/Procurement experience.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Experience in Marine / Oil & Gas / Heavy Engineering will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement cycle from PR to delivery.
• Handle RFQs, vendor sourcing, 3-quote comparisons and commercial negotiations.
• Develop and manage reliable vendors for marine, oil & gas and engineering spares.
• Track RFQs, PRs, POs and vendor deliveries and follow up on delays.
• Ensure SAP B1 entries including PR, PO, GRN, material master and vendor records.
• Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Service and Stores for procurement and delivery.
• Support inventory management, BOM, HSN/FA codes and documentation.
• Develop alternate vendors and maintain vendor performance records.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, GST and import/FTWZ documentation where applicable.
