Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Bangalore seeks a PTD Group Lead to drive automation for Product Data Management. You will implement SAP/Teamcenter interfaces, assess requirements, and integrate AI-enabled data checks across complex systems. You’ll work with cross-site teams to transform data processes and deliver efficient automation solutions.

The role emphasizes engineering rigor, data structures, and collaboration with business users to deploy scalable automation in a global context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, automation or system integration.
• Experience in Product Data Management, ideally with SAP and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of SAP product data processes (material master, BOMs, documents, change processes).
• Teamcenter knowledge or willingness to build it up during the transformation.
• Strong Python, SQL and REST/SOAP APIs skills.
• Experience with automation tools/workflows or low-code platforms (Power Automate, Mendix).
• Interest in AI to reduce manual effort and support users.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Experience with international cross-site teams.

• You hold a successfully completed technical degree
• You hold a successfully completed technical or IT-related degree
• You bring 5+ years of experience in software development, automation or system integration
• You have experience in Product Data Management, ideally with SAP and Teamcenter
• You have good knowledge of SAP product data processes, e.g. material master, BOMs, documents or change processes
• You have Teamcenter knowledge or willingness to build it up during the transformation
• You understand complex data structures, system dependencies and technical processes
• You can technically assess prepared requirements and implement them into automated solutions
• You possess solid skills in Python, SQL and REST/SOAP APIs
• You have experience with automation tools, workflow solutions or low-code platforms, e.g. Power Automate, Mendix or comparable
• You have experience or interest in using AI to reduce manual effort and support users
• You have fluent English skills; German language skills are a plus
• You are used to working with international, cross-site teams
