Job summary

Siemens Mobility, Pune-based, is seeking a Software Developer- Train IT to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software for train IT subsystems. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement features, review code, and ensure robust solutions in an international project environment.

The role requires 5–7 years of core software development, strong Go skills, Linux and network proficiency, and familiarity with containerization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5–7 years of core software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in go (Golang) development for performance-critical systems.
• Experience with OAuth2.0 and tokenization is a plus.
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with docker/podman for containerization.
• Familiarity with network protocols and certificate usage in IT environments.

We are looking for Software Developer- Train IT

You’ll make a difference by

Desired Skills

• Minimum 5-7 years of core software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in go (Golang) development with experience building performance-critical systems software.
• Experience with modern authentication frameworks such as OAuth2.0 and tokenization are great plus
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with docker/podman for containerization.
• Familiarity with protocols and mechanisms for certificate usage in IT environments.
• Proficient in Linux systems and networking (Ethernet, Routing, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Familiarity with application deployment on Wi-Fi or LTE network is a plug
• Experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of transportation domain and train IT subsystems with associated protocols will be a great plus.
• Familiarity with databases like Postgress and SQLite etc.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
