Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Bengaluru, India, seeks a PTD Group Lead to drive automation for Product Data Management, integrating SAP, Teamcenter and related systems.

You will design and implement workflows, assess requirements, enable AI-assisted checks, and support cross-site teams in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed technical degree in engineering or IT.
• 5+ years in software development, automation or system integration.
• Experience with Product Data Management, SAP and Teamcenter is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of SAP product data processes (material master, BOMs, documents, change processes).
• Teamcenter knowledge or willingness to build it during transformation.
• Ability to assess requirements and implement automated solutions.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with automation/workflow tools or low-code platforms (Power Automate, Mendix).
• Interest or experience in using AI to reduce manual effort and support users.
• Fluent English; German a plus.
• Experience working with international cross-site teams.

We are looking for PTD Group Lead

You’ll make a difference by

• Develop automation solutions for Product Data Management processes
• Implement functions, workflows, scripts and interfaces around SAP, Teamcenter and connected systems
• Support the Teamcenter transformation with technical automation and integration solutions
• Technically assess requirements prepared by business users, key users or working students
• Create and maintain data flows and interfaces between SAP, Teamcenter and related applications
• Integrate AI-supported solutions for data checks, classification, information extraction or user assistance
• Test, debug, document and deploy developed solutions
• Maintain and improve productive solutions in a 60/40 build-run setup
• Provide user support for productive automation solutions

Desired Skills

• You hold a successfully completed technical degree
• You hold a successfully completed technical or IT-related degree
• You bring 5+ years of experience in software development, automation or system integration
• You have experience in Product Data Management, ideally with SAP and Teamcenter
• You have good knowledge of SAP product data processes, e.g. material master, BOMs, documents or change processes
• You have Teamcenter knowledge or willingness to build it up during the transformation
• You understand complex data structures, system dependencies and technical processes
• You can technically assess prepared requirements and implement them into automated solutions
• You possess solid skills in Python, SQL and REST/SOAP APIs
• You have experience with automation tools, workflow solutions or low-code platforms, e.g. Power Automate, Mendix or comparable
• You have experience or interest in using AI to reduce manual effort and support users
• You have fluent English skills; German language skills are a plus
• You are used to working with international, cross-site teams
