Job summary

IIRIS Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst to handle 24x7 command center duties, respond to calls, and coordinate with internal teams.

The role involves monitoring various channels, reporting incidents, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining crisis lists; you will communicate in English, Kannada and Hindi and work in shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate with analytical skills and 1+ year in a 24x7 command center operations role.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to fixed deadlines.
• Fluent in English, Kannada and Hindi; additional languages a plus.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and MS Office applications.
• Willing to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Attend all calls at the Command Center and respond promptly.
• Interact with employees, visitors, officials, emergency services and customers.
• Monitor news, internet, phone lines, alerts, WhatsApp and emails to identify incidents.
• Document records of activities during shifts and prepare incident reports.
• Notify and direct external emergency personnel and internal teams.
• Carry out risk assessments and create location-specific advisories.
• Send timely notifications and incident updates to employees and stakeholders.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV and other systems to report thefts, accidents or hazards.
• Maintain crisis contact lists and coordinate with Security Management.

Location

Location: Bangalore 24*7, 6 days working

• Attend all the calls landing at the Command Center and timely respond with appropriate response.
• Interaction with a variety of persons including Employees, Visitors, Public Officials, Emergency Services, Customers, etc.
• Monitor News, Internet, phone lines, alerts, WhatsApp, emails to identify incidents of risk to business in order to promptly respond, compile, and report all information in regard to security incidents and emergencies.
• Report all location-specific incidents to the appropriate responders, Security Team, and Management.
• Notify, assist, and direct external emergency personnel and internal emergency response (ERT) as necessary.
• Document detailed records of activities as they occur during the shift.
• Initiate all emergency notification calls and possess extensive knowledge of emergency response procedures at multiple sites.
• Prepare all required written reports, including but not limited to: Security Operations Database, Incident Reports, and all other required logs.
• Carry out risk assessment of region/city and create location/city-specific advisories for business locations and business travel destinations.
• Send timely notifications to employees and advisories for travelers as and when required using the available tools and services.
• Create and send Incident Updates, Alerts, and Advisories for Stakeholders & Crisis teams.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV footage, and other monitoring systems to promptly respond, compile, and report any information in regard to theft, alarms, accidents, hazardous material leaks, fires, and other incidents that may occur.
• Send timely notifications to employees and advisories for travelers as and when required using the available tools and services.
• Create and send Incident Updates, Alerts, and Advisories for Stakeholders & Crisis teams.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV footage, and other monitoring systems to promptly respond, compile, and report all information in regard to theft, alarms, accidents, hazardous material leaks, fires, and other incidents that may occur.
• Report all building utility/service/life safety issues to the appropriate responders and Security Management.
• Create, maintain, and update an extensive crisis contact list and location list.
• Supporting vendors to integrate the IDS Panel with CCC.
• Supporting vendors to integrate the CCTV DVR/NVR/SD card with CCC & work on alert configuration & camera renaming.
• Participate in professional development courses and demonstrate improved job knowledge and skills.

Skill Set

• Graduate (logical & analytical skills) with minimum 1 year of experience in a 24×7 command center operations role preferred.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, to fixed deadlines, and a flexible approach to working hours to meet deadlines.
• Pleasing personality with very good command over English, Kannada, and Hindi; other languages would be an added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge in using Google Workspace & Office applications.
• Flexible to work in shifts
