Job summary

Kovaion Consulting India Pvt Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator to manage PeopleTools, PUM, and environment maintenance. You will troubleshoot performance, handle production support, and collaborate with Oracle DBA teams across domains.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of hands-on PeopleSoft experience, strong knowledge of app servers, DMZ integration, SSL considerations, and excellent documentation and communication skills. A CS/IT degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot PeopleSoft App Server, Process Scheduler, Web Server, and Integration components.
• Perform environment health checks, capacity monitoring, and log management.
• Lead production incidents, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Coordinate DMZ connectivity between PeopleSoft and internal tiers.
• Document configurations and share knowledge across teams.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator with strong hands‑on expertise in PeopleTools, PUM, environment management, infrastructure, performance troubleshooting, and production support. The role also requires the ability to work across PeopleSoft Administration and Oracle DBA domains.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator
• Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with PeopleTools, PUM, Oracle Database, SQL Server
• Proven expertise in refreshes, migrations, patching, and maintenance activities
• Hands‑on experience in PeopleTools upgrades, PUM Image application
• Strong experience in managing and troubleshooting PeopleSoft Application Server, Process Scheduler, Web Server, Integration Broker, Integration Gateway, Load Balancer, WAF, and DMZ components.
• Experience in DMZ server management, including PeopleSoft web servers, reverse proxy/load balancer integration, firewall connectivity, network flows, and communication between DMZ and internal application/database tiers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for PeopleSoft performance issues, including slow transactions, application server issues, Process Scheduler performance, long-running processes, database bottlenecks, SQL performance, and resource utilization.
• Experience in handling production incidents, critical outages, performance degradation, application/server failures, integration issues, and root‑cause analysis (RCA).
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, digital certificates, HTTPS configuration, certificate renewals, and troubleshooting SSL connectivity issues.
• Understanding of Load Balancers, WAF, firewalls, DNS, ports, network connectivity, and DMZ architecture in relation to PeopleSoft environments.
• Ability to perform environment health checks, capacity monitoring, filesystem/database housekeeping, log management, and proactive performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication, technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
