Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator with 7 + years of hands-on experience managing PeopleSoft environments independently. The candidate should have strong expertise in PeopleSoft administration, architecture, application/web servers, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and production environment management.
The ideal candidate should be capable of single-handedly managing the complete PeopleSoft instance, including environment administration, maintenance, patching, upgrades, deployments, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage and administer PeopleSoft environments across Development, Testing, UAT and Production.
- Take complete ownership of PeopleSoft infrastructure and day-to-day administration activities.
- Perform PeopleSoft application, database, web and application server administration.
- Apply and manage CVE (Critical Vulnerability) patches and CSPU (PeopleSoft Cumulative Update) patches.
- Analyze patch requirements, prepare implementation plans, perform impact analysis and execute patches with minimal downtime.
- Perform PeopleSoft application upgrades, including planning, execution, validation and post-upgrade activities.
- Manage PeopleSoft Application Server, Web Server and Process Scheduler domains.
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot WebLogic / PeopleSoft Web Server and application server components.
- Have a strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, including Application Server, Web Server, Process Scheduler, Database, Integration Broker and supporting components.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability and capacity of PeopleSoft environments.
- Troubleshoot application server, web server, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker and connectivity-related issues.
- Manage PeopleSoft configuration, domain creation, configuration and tuning.
- Support production deployments, migration of objects and release management activities.
- Perform routine maintenance, environment refreshes, backups/recovery coordination and system housekeeping.
- Coordinate with DBA, middleware, infrastructure, security and functional teams for issue resolution.
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Participate in disaster recovery, high availability and business continuity activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, installation procedures, patching documents and environment details.
- Ensure PeopleSoft environments comply with organizational security and vulnerability-management standards.
Mandatory Skills
- 7+ years of strong hands-on PeopleSoft Administration experience.
- Ability to manage a PeopleSoft instance independently / single-handedly.
- Strong experience with PeopleSoft patching, including CVE/security patches and CSPU.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Upgrade projects.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Application Server and Web Server administration.
- Good understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and components.
- Experience with Process Scheduler and Integration Broker.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
- Experience working in enterprise/large-scale PeopleSoft environments.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux and basic scripting would be an advantage.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on PeopleSoft Administrator who can independently own the complete PeopleSoft technical environment, rather than someone who has worked only on a specific component. Strong experience in patching, upgrades, application/web server administration, troubleshooting and PeopleSoft architecture is essential.
