Job summary

Dexian India is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator to join our Chennai team. You will manage 24x7 support for PeopleSoft, maintain PIA components, and ensure smooth operation of apps, web and process schedulers.

The role requires strong SQL Server DBA skills, expertise in Change Assistant and PUM deployments, and proactive monitoring to prevent downtime across Windows and Unix platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PeopleSoft administration in 24x7 support model.
• Strong SQL Server DBA knowledge.
• Experience in PeopleTools 8.5x/8.6x, Tuxedo, WebLogic on Windows & Unix.
• Performance tuning of web servers, app servers, and process schedulers.
• Experience with Integration Broker administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot PeopleSoft environments.
• Tune performance of app servers, web servers, and schedulers.
• Manage Data Mover and Change Assistant for upgrades/patching.
• Configure and maintain PIA components (Tuxedo, WebLogic, JSL/SSL, SMTP, cache, trace).
• Proactive monitoring to avoid downtime and outages.

• 5+ Yrs Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft administration in 24*7 support model for supporting PeopleSoft Application.
• SQL Server DBA Knowledge is Must.
• Administration & troubleshooting of Peopletools - 8.5x and 8.6x, Tuxedo, & Weblogic in windows & Unix platforms.
• Performance tuning of web servers, App Servers, Process Schedulers.
• SQL Server Administration & Performance Tuning.
• Strong experience in Integration Broker administration.
• Should have sound knowledge on PeopleSoft application servers, process schedulers and web servers.
• Should have Extensive experience of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) (such as tuxedo, weblogic, jsl/ssl, configuration, smtp, cache, trace, etc.)
• Should have Strong exposure in installing App Server / Process Scheduler Domains and PeopleSoft PIA.
• Should be able to configure PeopleSoft Change Assistant and configure templates required for tools/application upgrade
• Should have experience in Applying Multi-lingual, patches, PUM deployment and usage of change Assistant.
• Knowledge in Excel to CI.
• Knowledge in PeopleSoft Security.
• Knowledge in Configuring the Configuration Manager in Two Tier and Three Tier Mode.
• Should have strong experience in Data Mover tool.
• Should have Strong Experience in PeopleSoft Project Migration.
• Knowledge on Tax Updates.
• Proactive monitoring and alerting of system resources avoiding critical downtime.
