Hiring a 5G RAN protocol developer with 3+ years’ experience in Wireless Telecommunications or Networking, focusing on LTE/5G NR Layer‑1, Layer‑2, and Layer‑3 protocol software development.

Experience
3‑8 Years of experience in Wireless Telecommunications or Networking background, having hands‑on experience in LTE/5G NR Layer‑1, Layer‑2, and Layer‑3 protocol software development.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development and testing of various nodes of 5G NR protocol software.
- Develop high‑technology solutions within the radio access network of the 5G mobile communication system.
- Work closely with customers and colleagues in agile Scrum teams worldwide to develop and improve solutions for the future.
- Contribute to product development, LLD, features development and verification of gNodeB.
- Actively work with the client and cross team to carry out system integration and testing.
- Focus on continuously improving system performance with quality deliverables.
- Work closely with other domain specialists.
- Document development processes and test outcomes comprehensively.
Mandatory Skills
- Hands‑on experience in LTE/5G NR Mac Scheduler, 3GPP Layer 2.
- In‑depth knowledge of 3GPP Specification – specifically Layer‑1, Layer‑2 and Layer‑3.
- Understanding of Layer‑1‑Layer‑2 interfaces and Layer‑2‑Layer‑3 interfaces.
- Knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP etc.
- Experience debugging complex gNodeB issues, log file analysis etc.
- Proficient in Agile development methodologies.
- Good coding skills in C/C++.
- Proficient in using version control tools such as Git, Gerrit, and project management tools like Jira.
- Experience with agile ways of working.
- Experience with cloud technologies like microservices, containers, etc. is also a merit.
- Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of working in a dynamic and global environment.
Education
B.E./B.S./B.Tech./M.S./M.E./M.Tech. in EC/EE/CS or any other equivalent degree.
