Job summary

PARALLEL WIRELESS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to drive end-to-end development of L2/L3 embedded protocol stacks for 4G/5G solutions. You will design, code, test, debug, and integrate features, and lead stack software development acrossParallel Wireless products used by customers worldwide.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience with strong C/C++ on Linux, deep knowledge of RAN protocols (LTE/5G) and O-RAN, plus hands-on debugging with specialized tools.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of work experience in telecom/embedded stack development.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and proficiency with Linux.
• Experience with end-to-end 4G/5G stack development and debugging.
• Familiarity with 3GPP RAN, O-RAN specs, and LTE/NR interfaces.

• Lead full development lifecycle of L2/L3 embedded protocol stack (design, code, test, debug, integrate).
• Develop new features for Parallel Wireless future products and debug existing solutions used by customers globally.

Job description

Technical Lead, Stack Qualifications & required skills

• Understanding of end-to-end solutions for 4G/5G network architecture.
• Familiar with 3GPP RAN and O-RAN specifications and functionality.
• Development experience on Cellular Radio products complying with 3GPP specifications for E-UTRA (LTE) and NR.
• Familiar with communication interfaces: Ethernet / TCP/IP / UDP.
• Good knowledge of RAN protocols and interfaces: LTE/5G AS protocol layers - PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC.
• Expert-level proficiency in the MAC and RLC layers is required.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their application to RAN (e.g., network optimization, ML frameworks); hands-on experience applying AI/ML in a telecom/RAN context is a strong plus.
• Excellent log analysis and debugging skills.
• Must be strong in C/C++ programming and Linux OS.
• Hands-on experience debugging in a Linux environment with tools like GDB, QXDM, TM500, QCAT, etc.
• 8 - 10 years of work experience.
• Good to Have / Advantageous Experience with Git.
• Knowledge of the O-RAN E3 interface and dApp development.

• As a stack SW developer, you will develop new features/environment for Parallel Wireless future products and debug existing solutions which are used by our customers around the world.
