Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Pune/Noida is seeking a Proposal Consultant to prepare techno-commercial proposals for MV/LV MCCs, VFDs, and automation solutions. You will review RFQs, develop technical and cost-competitive solutions, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

The role requires 4+ years in proposal engineering, strong MV/LV knowledge, and experience with BOMs, man-hour estimates, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics required.
• 4+ years of experience in Proposal Engineering for MV/LV MCCs, electrical knowledge, and automation engineering.
• Working knowledge of MV/LV Drives, PLC & MCC system designing.
• Deep knowledge of DOL & S/D starters, VFDs, Soft-Starters, intelligent motor control, safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare techno-commercial proposals for MV/LV MCCs, VFDs, and automation solutions based on customer specs and RFQs.
• Analyse customer requirements and develop technically compliant, cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare BOMs, man-hour estimates, and detailed bottom-up cost calculations.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals, scope summaries, and clarifications.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Commercial teams to ensure accurate submissions.

The role includes RFQ review, technical solution development, costing, proposal preparation, and customer requirement analysis while collaborating with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams. Part of the GEBS organisation supporting global Rockwell Automation offices.
