HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED in Vadodara is seeking a Project Warranty Manager to join our After Sales & Service team. You will manage warranty and service projects with technical and commercial responsibilities, contributing to a transition toward greener energy solutions.

You’ll collaborate globally with regional teams, coordinate fault investigations, site activities, and customer relationships, while ensuring budget adherence, records, and high quality across projects.

Competenze

• 10-15 years experience in transformer service and project management.
• Strong HSE, quality and integrity mindset.
• Fluent in English; other languages (e.g., Swedish, Spanish or German) are a plus.
• Experience in project management and/or energy sector is valued.

• Manage multiple Warranty and Service projects for Power Quality portfolio as main customer contact.

The opportunity

Our unit in Vadodara is looking for a Project Warranty Manager to join our international team at the After Sales & Service. You'll be part of a high-spirited team, collaborating with colleagues across the organization. In this role, you will manage Warranty and Service projects, including technical and commercial responsibilities. This position will enhance your technical competence and contribute to the transition towards greener energy solutions.

How you’ll make an impact

• Managing multiple ongoing Warranty and Service projects for Power Quality portfolio where you will be the main point of contact for the customer, internal as well as external end customers.
• Handling a wide range of tasks in the projects such as fault investigations, coordination of site activities and customer relationship.
• Manage and solve upcoming quality issues for your assigned projects together with engineering team, suppliers, and customer.
• Managing operational and financial reporting for projects while driving continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate globally with the responsible in the regions and local operation units to support our customers around the world.
• Deliver according to customer expectations within budget and expected quality.
• Maintaining all records of warranty jobs, warranty prompt services to all customers till its closure etc by coordinating with all concern functions.
• Taking over clear responsibility from PM after commissioning & TOC from customers.
• Handling contracts terms & conditions, legal aspects, SAP/Ariba required tasks, customer first approach etc.
• Techno-commercials matters to be handled with versatile approach.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Degree in Engineering or other equivalent work experience
• 10 -15 yrs experience. Both, Transformer service & project management experience is must.
• Strong HSE, quality and integrity mindset.
• You are organized, structured, and collaborative as a person.
• Have a strong ability to prioritize and take responsibility for your deliveries.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal is required, other language such as Swedish, Spanish, or German are considered added value.
• Previous experience in project management and/or from the Energy Sector is considered added value.
