Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Specialist for the High Voltage Business to join our Vadodara team. The role centers on internal and external customer support, coordinating with Sales, Operations, and After-Sales to own cases and ensure timely resolutions.

The candidate will manage projects from order booking to dispatch, including drawings approvals, manufacturing schedules, FAT, payment terms, and SAP invoicing, while maintaining data accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; 5–10 years of experience.
• Experience in Order handling / Order management from Switchgears / disconnectors / instrument transformers.
• Hands-on SAP experience for orders and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Customer issue resolution coordinated with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and after-sales teams.
• Coordinate with related teams to ensure complete handling of requests (production, scheduling, resourcing, quotes, pricing, invoicing).
• Inform customers about issue status and maintain a positive experience throughout the process.
• Manage projects for the assigned region from order booking to dispatch, including drawings, manufacturing schedules, FAT, payment terms, SAP invoicing.
• Data analysis and regular statistics preparation (e.g., forecasts) using available tools.
• Uphold safety and integrity values in all actions.

Mission Statement: Provide internal and external customer support (e.g., technical, order assistance, payment-related assistance) and coordinate with relevant resources to have complete case ownership and to increase customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

• Customer assistance (Domestic & Export ) ensures the resolution of customer issues (e.g., order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams. Coordinates resolution with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams.

• Customer requests recommends appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g., production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place.

• Customer relations proactively informs customers about issue status based on inputs and clarifies any questions. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the entire process.

• Responsible for all the projects for the assigned region – from order booking to dispatch – Drawing approvals / manufacturing schedules / Including FAT / Payment terms / SAP invoicing.

• Data analysis prepares and analyzes regular statistics (e.g., forecast) using available tools and collecting relevant information.

Your background
