BVR People Consulting is seeking an experienced Field Service Project Manager / FSE Manager in Vadodara to lead transformer service projects from cradle to grave. You will coordinate field engineers, customers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective execution.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of power transformers, testing, commissioning, installation and maintenance, plus strong PM and vendor-management skills. Willingness to travel is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with transformer service, testing, commissioning, installation, maintenance or repair.
• Knowledge of DGA and transformer diagnostics.
• Understanding of transformer failure modes and condition-based maintenance.
• Experience in field service, site engineering, and service project management.
• Strong customer, vendor and subcontractor management.
• Knowledge of safety, ISO, audit and compliance.
• Strong techno-commercial skills including PO processing and invoicing.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build strong customer relationships and provide technical solutions.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, quality, SCM and service teams for project delivery.
• Support continuous improvement and post-project reviews.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Project Manager / FSE Manager with strong expertise in Power Transformers, Transformer Service, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance. The role will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of transformer service projects, coordinating field engineers, customers, vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end transformer service projects from initiation to closure.


• Plan and coordinate transformer installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance and repair activities.


• Provide technical support for transformer service activities at customer sites.


• Coordinate with customers, service engineers, technicians, vendors, subcontractors and internal teams.


• Monitor project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks and KPIs.


• Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety, HSE, ISO, quality and audit requirements.


• Conduct regular site visits for safety, technical and compliance reviews.


• Manage customer POs, vendor POs, invoicing, payments, reconciliation and other techno-commercial activities.


• Maintain service documentation, timesheets, service reports and installed-base records.


• Support vendor onboarding, ARC renewal and vendor compliance activities.


• Build strong customer relationships and provide technical solutions and service recommendations.


• Coordinate with sales, engineering, quality, SCM and service teams for successful project delivery.


• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC / IEEE / CIGRE standards and company procedures.


• Support continuous improvement and post-project reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.


• Strong experience in Transformer Service / Power Transformer / Electrical Equipment.


• Experience in Transformer Testing, Commissioning, Installation, Maintenance or Repair.


• Strong knowledge of DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis), Transformer Diagnostics and Condition Assessment.


• Understanding of transformer failure modes, insulation systems and condition-based maintenance.


• Experience in Field Service / Site Engineering / Service Project Management.


• Strong customer, vendor and subcontractor management skills.


• Experience in project planning, execution, budget, risk and KPI management.


• Knowledge of safety, ISO, audit and compliance requirements.


• Good techno-commercial understanding including PO, invoicing and vendor coordination.


• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.


• PMP / equivalent project management certification will be an added advantage.
