Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Project Technical Engineering Experienced Professional in Chennai to support global HVDC SCADA/HMI projects and to design architectures for HVDC solutions.

You will engage in tender activities, customer meetings, and SQL-based data management. The role involves developing HMI with Intouch, configuring gateway servers with MicroSCADA, and contributing to IT infrastructure, testing, security, backups, and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Projects for HVDC SCADA & HMI
• Design and Develop architecture & functional descriptions for Functions / Solutions for HVDC SCADA
• Participate in Tender activities, customer meetings
• Work in DataBase Management/SQL
• Develop HMI with Intouch application
• Configure Gateway Server with MicroSCADA
• Work on IT-Infrasctrucure with knowledge on routers, firewalls, Switches, Servers and workstations
• Prepare & Perform test case scenarios & participate in FST
• Have Exposure to Cyber Security
• Involve in Backup/ Image handling on servers and workstations and patch management
