Job summary

Alstom in Bengaluru invites applications for a full-time Project Planning Engineer. You will develop and maintain detailed project schedules and coordinate across Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to align objectives.

You’ll identify scheduling risks, propose solutions, manage conflicts, and support simulations to evolve project timelines. Strong communication and teamwork across an international environment are key.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree; PM certifications preferred (PMP/IPMA-D/PRINCE2).
  • Experience in project management within an industrial setting.
  • Agility in schedules, simulations, and evolving objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative mindset.
  • Multi-tasking and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Comfort in multicultural, international environments.
  • Proficient in scheduling tools Primavera, MSP, Planisware.

Could you be the full-time Project Planning Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside agile, structured, and anticipative teammates.

You’ll be instrumental in orchestrating project goals and schedules, ensuring seamless coordination between various departments (Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, manage internal processes, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of detailed project scheduling, but also proactive solution proposals and conflict management.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules
  • Coordinating between various departments to ensure alignment on project goals

  • Managing and resolving scheduling conflicts
