Job summary

Neptunus Power Plant Services is seeking an Operations Co-ordinator to plan and track jobs, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure on-time delivery. You will surface risks early, drive timely resolution, and maintain real-time visibility through MIS dashboards.

The role requires 2-3 years of relevant experience, a background in mechanical/industrial production or operations management, and strong Excel/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and track jobs/orders, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely execution.
• Identify delays, bottlenecks and risks and escalate where needed; drive actions to closure.
• Prepare accurate MIS reports and dashboards; keep operational data up to date.
• Provide regular status updates to management; monitor adherence to processes and SOPs.
• Coordinate across Delivery, Technical, Service and Commercial teams; seek opportunities for process improvements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities ;

• As Operations Co-ordinator you will be closing working with COO.
• You will act as an escalator and coordinator between managers, delivery teams, and leadership, surfacing risks early and driving timely resolution.
• You will maintain and generate MIS/reporting through the relevant planning and tracking software, giving leadership an accurate, real-time view of where every job stands.
• You will help ensure that Neptunus' processes and systems run as intended, flagging gaps, chasing closures, and keeping execution on track.
• In short, this is not just a reporting or admin role, it's a chance to understand how the entire company's workflow fits together, while working closely with managers and leaders across functions.

Key Requirements ;

You will be responsible for planning and tracking jobs/orders, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely execution, proactively identifying and escalating delays, bottlenecks and risks, and driving actions to closure. The role will also involve preparing accurate MIS reports and dashboards, maintaining updated operational data, providing regular status updates to management, monitoring adherence to defined processes and SOPs, coordinating across Delivery, Technical, Service and Commercial teams, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Skills & Qualification ;

• B.E. (Mechanical / Industrial / Production) or MBA (Operations); good diploma/graduate candidates from the same discipline with relevant experience will also be considered.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Interest in / aspiration to work in the Marine or Oil & Gas industry.
• Reasonable working knowledge of computers and Excel.
• A get-it-done mindset proactively chases closure rather than waiting to be chased.
• Good communication skills, able to coordinate clearly with managers, teams, and vendors.
