Job summary

EDII invites applications for the post of Project Officer for Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Selected officers will guide and counsel potential and existing entrepreneurs to set up and develop micro and small enterprises, and will organize workshops and training programs. The contract post may be posted anywhere in the country.

Salary is up to Rs. 40,000 CTC. The candidate should have strong documentation, reporting, computer literacy, data analysis, and fluent English and regional language

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2 years in Rural Management/Social Work/Economics/MBA/Mass Communication.
• 2 years of field training programme experience under relevant schemes.
• Fluency in English and regional language with good communication skills.
• Field work experience is mandatory.
• Prior experience in business incubation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide and counsel potential and existing entrepreneurs to set up and develop micro and small enterprises.
• Assist micro and small enterprises in developing technology and forward linkages.
• Organize workshops and training programs for NGOs/Institutions and Entrepreneurs.
• Network with funding agencies, development banks, government departments, NGOs, and entrepreneurs.
• Prepare project reports and report to sponsoring agencies.

• Field Work Experience is mandatory.
• Prior experience of working with Business Incubation in preferred.

Job Description:

• Selected project officers will be responsible for providing guidance and counseling to potential and existing entrepreneurs for setting up and developing small and micro enterprises.
• Assisting the micro and small enterprises in developing technology and forward linkages
• Organizing workshops and training programs for NGOs/Institutions and Entrepreneurs.
• Networking and liaising with key stakeholders viz. Funding agencies, Development banks, government departments, NGOs, and Potential and Existing Entrepreneurs.
• Preparing project reports
• Reporting to sponsoring agencies

Type of Employment: On a Contractual basis.

Maximum Salary: Upto Rs. 40,000 CTC

The selected candidate may be posted anywhere in the country. Salary/ Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
