Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) invites applications for the post of Project Coordinator for Purulia and New Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. The role involves capacity-building for clusters, training design, stakeholder coordination, and field travel to sites.

Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience in micro enterprise or livelihoods projects. On contractual basis, salary up to Rs. 35,000 CTC. EDII reserves rights on selection.

Formación

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Rural Management, Social Work, Agri-Business, Economics, MSW or MBA.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in micro enterprise, entrepreneurship development, self-employment, livelihoods, or women-focused schemes in the developmental sector.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with and build capacity of weavers, artisans, master artisans and community leaders.
• Design and implement training programmes focusing on MFP value addition, market linkages and enterprise development.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for efficient operations of VDVKs with state government support.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• Monitor day-to-day activities of VDVKs and track trainings and progress.
• Lead zonal manpower for timely project implementation.
• Monitor cluster activities, prepare reports and IEC materials.
• Oversee MFP value addition trainings and capacity-building programs for VDVKs.
• Participate in EDII Head Office review meetings to track progress.
• Facilitate partnerships between EDII and government agencies, NGOs, and private sector entities.

Job Description

• Engage with and ensure capacity-building activities for key stakeholders such as weavers, artisans, master artisans and community leaders within the cluster.
• Devise and implement training programs tailored to cluster needs, focusing on MFP value addition, market linkages, business development, enterprise development
• Work collaboratively with all stakeholders for an efficient and effective operations of the VDVKs with assistance from the State Government, ensuring their alignment with project objectives.
• Travel to project sites as and when required
• Monitor day to day activities of the VDVKs and track their trainings and progresses
• Coordinate and lead the zonal manpower for an effective and timely implementation of the project
• Monitoring of the cluster activities, preparation of reports and IEC materials etc.
• Oversee the MFP value addition trainings and oversee capacity building training programs for VDVKs members.
• Participate in all review meetings conducted by EDII Head Office to track and report progress.
• Act as a liaison between the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) and various local stakeholders and project beneficiaries. Facilitate partnerships between stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector entities.

Type of Employment

On Contractual basis for 11 months.

Maximum Salary

Upto Rs.35000 CTC.
