Job summary

Jobtailor in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate day-to-day activities across multiple portfolios, ensuring plans align with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years in project management, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), strong communication and risk-management skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through planning, procurement, and governance processes.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of Project Management experience.

• Experience delivering complex project deliverables.
• Knowledge of project planning, charter, benefits management, stakeholder management, acceptance plans, and issue logs.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, directing, and coordinating day-to-day activities for projects.
• Assess creation and signoff of project plans, charters, management plans, acceptance plans, and issue logs.
• Oversee project plans to ensure they meet business needs.
• Identify stakeholders in scope and ensure understanding of schedules and milestones.
• Work with the Project Sponsor on business-case cost-benefit analysis.
• Ensure projects are appropriately staffed and monitor resource commitments.
• Escalate project risks to the Project Director or Project Sponsor.
• Create project risk management plans.
• Work with procurement to create, administer, track, and close project contracts.
• Recommend training and development needs for assigned personnel.
• Evaluate subordinate performance and recommend pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions.
• Direct the supported area, ensuring delivery of end results and shared budget-management responsibility.
• Manage resource planning and help define standards.
• Assess risk in business decisions, protect the firm's reputation and assets, drive compliance, and report control issues transparently

Requirements

• 6-10 years of Project Management experience
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
