Job summary

BFC Supply Pvt Ltd, based in Pune, seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive end-to-end biomass supply contracts. You will plan, coordinate, monitor and control projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence and high customer satisfaction.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and extensive travel to project sites are essential. The role requires 8–10 years in PM/Operations, PMP preferred, and a strong background in biomass or related sectors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own and manage biomass supply projects from initiation to completion.
• Act as SPOC for all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
• Develop detailed project plans, milestones and execution frameworks.
• Track progress and ensure timely deliverables within budgets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Rural Ops, Product Development, Marketing and Customer teams.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and implement mitigation plans.
• Monitor budgets and ensure execution within approved financial parameters.
• Escalate critical issues and drive resolution through stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain project documentation and dashboards using MS Project and Excel.
• Provide regular updates to customers and leadership on progress and outcomes.
• Drive process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
• Travel extensively to project locations for reviews and oversight.

Overview:
BFC Supply Private Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of BiofuelCircle Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Pune. The company is in the business of creating a reliable biomass supply chain for biofuels and bio- products. The company creates biomass banks which is a local, participative ecosystem of agri-residue collection, warehousing and transportation enabled through digitally connected local partners.

Key Purpose of this role:

To drive end-to-end execution of biomass supply contracts by planning,

coordinating, monitoring and controlling project activities. The role holder will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely project completion, budget adherence, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Tasks Involved:

• Own and manage assigned biomass supply projects from initiation to

• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Develop detailed project plans, milestones, timelines and execution frameworks.
• Track project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Collaborate with Sales, Rural Operations, Product Development, Marketing and Customer teams for seamless execution.
• Identify project risks, delays and bottlenecks proactively and implement mitigation plans.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure execution within approved financial
• parameters.
• Escalate critical issues in a timely manner and drive resolution through

• Maintain project documentation, reporting dashboards and performance trackers using tools such as MS Project and Excel.
• Regularly update customers and internal leadership on project progress, risks and outcomes.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and recommend alternate approaches to improve project efficiency.
• Travel extensively to project locations for execution reviews, stakeholder management and operational oversight.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, contractual commitments and quality standards.

General Background (Experience)

8-10 years of experience in Project Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related functions. Experience in rural, agri-business, biomass, renewable energy or infrastructure sectors will be advantageous.

Technical Competency

• Strong understanding of project planning, execution, monitoring and risk management methodologies. PMP certification preferred.
• Ability to monitor project financials, control costs and ensure execution within approved budgets.
• Prior exposure to biomass sourcing, aggregation, biomass processing, quality assessment, agriculture supply chains or renewable energy projects will be an added advantage.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments while managing multiple priorities
• Authoritative ability to ask questions in the benefit of on time project completion
