Job summary

Zodiac Energy is seeking a seasoned Lead/PM to drive end-to-end overseas Solar EPC and Renewable Energy project execution. You will guide project teams, plan resources, and coordinate with HO functions to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across international sites.

The role demands 8–12 years of experience in large-scale EPC projects, strong leadership, and willingness for overseas deployment. Travel to overseas locations will be required as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/ Civil/ Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in Solar EPC / Renewable Energy / Infrastructure project execution.
• Experience in managing large-scale EPC projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of overseas Solar EPC / Renewable Energy projects.
• Manage and guide Assistant Managers, Project Engineers and site/project teams working under the Project Manager.
• Plan project activities, manpower, materials, resources and execution schedules.
• Monitor project progress against approved time, cost, quality and safety parameters.
• Coordinate with HO teams including Design & Engineering, Procurement, SCM, Finance, Contracts and HR for project requirements.
• Act as the key coordination point between the overseas project team, HO, DGM Projects and Business Head.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor procurement, logistics, material availability and mobilisation requirements for overseas projects.
• Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications and project requirements in coordination with the Design/Engineering team.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide MIS, progress reports, cost updates and project status to management.
• Identify project risks, delays and bottlenecks and take timely corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, local regulations, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Manage project documentation, approvals, inspections, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Support the Business/Commercial team in addressing client issues, variations, claims and project-related commercial matters.
• Travel and stay at overseas project locations as required for project execution and monitoring.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in Solar EPC / Renewable Energy / Infrastructure project execution.
• Experience in managing large-scale EPC projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Overseas project experience, international markets, will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, project planning, coordination, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong communication and reporting skills with willingness to undertake international travel / overseas deployment.
