Job Description:

The JJMT Transformation function is responsible for designing and realizing the future-state supply chain network for Johnson & Johnson MedTech. This function includes oversight of consolidation and rationalization actions for the global distribution network, a strategic shift toward an asset-light model, and the build-out of new, future‑looking logistics capabilities including partner management, network design, systems strategy, and defining the transition standards required to sustain performance in the future state. The team operates centrally, working in close partnership with regional Deliver teams across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and North America.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

As part of the Network Orchestration function within Transformation, this role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of network transition activities required to enable the future-state supply chain network. The position is responsible for supporting execution of distribution network transition initiatives, including coordination of transition plans, milestone tracking, risk management, and governance activities across regions and functions. This includes ensuring that network transition activities are executed in line with defined timelines, standards, and transformation objectives while maintaining alignment across stakeholders. The role works closely with regional teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to support transition readiness, issue resolution, and visibility into execution progress and risks across network transformation initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Essential Functions)
  • Support planning and coordination of network transition activities across distribution sites, regions, and functions
  • Develop and maintain detailed transition plans, trackers, and governance documentation to support execution of network changes
  • Track transition milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution where required
  • Coordinate with regional teams to ensure readiness of operational, systems, infrastructure, and partner‑related activities supporting transitions
  • Support execution of site transition activities, including coordination of cutover planning, stabilization activities, and transition governance
  • Ensure transition activities remain aligned with defined standards, timelines, and future‑state network objectives
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across cross‑functional stakeholders, including Operations, IT, Digital, Procurement, Partner Management, and regional teams
  • Prepare reporting and updates for governance forums, including visibility into transition progress, risks, mitigation actions, and key decisions
  • Support identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance consistency and efficiency of transition execution across sites and regions
  • Maintain documentation of transition activities, lessons learned, and best practices to support future deployments and continuous improvement
  • Support management of interdependencies between network transitions and broader transformation initiatives
Education/EXPERIENCE

List minimum type and amount of relevant education, training, and experience necessary to perform the position proficiently. Be specific, especially with experience.

Education and/or additional training:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
  • A Master’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Experience and functional competencies:
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, project management, or transformation programs
  • Experience supporting operational transitions, network changes, site implementations, or large‑scale transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and distribution operations, including warehouse and transportation processes
  • Experience managing project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and governance activities across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a global, matrix organization: strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced transformation environment
  • Experience supporting cross‑functional initiatives involving Operations, IT, Procurement, and external partners
  • Proficiency in project management and reporting tools
