Job summary

Tracks & Towers in Head Office, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with hands-on exposure to 220kV Substation projects and Power Transmission & Distribution works. Qualifications

BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
Hands-on experience working on 220kV Substation projects.
Willingness to visit project sites for coordination and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities related to 220kV substations and TP/TD projects.
Review electrical drawings, BOQs, SLDs and technical documents.
Coordinate with project sites, consultants, clients, vendors and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are executed per drawings, specs and schedules.
Provide technical support to site teams for electrical installation and commissioning.
Review material requirements, procurement status and delivery for electrical works.
Coordinate with transformers, CT/PT, circuit breakers, protection systems and busbars."
Review testing and commissioning requirements and coordinate with site teams.
Monitor quality, safety and compliance requirements related to electrical works.
Assist in resolving technical issues and site execution challenges.
Prepare and review project reports, MIS and progress updates for management.
Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants and project teams.
Ensure project activities are completed within the planned schedule and required quality standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on exposure to 220kV Substation projects and Power Transmission & Distribution works. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating electrical project activities, reviewing technical requirements, monitoring project progress, and supporting site/project teams from the Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor electrical activities related to 220kV substations and transmission & distribution projects.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, SLDs and technical documents.
Coordinate with project sites, consultants, clients, vendors and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
Provide technical support to site teams for electrical installation and commissioning activities.
Review and track material requirements, procurement status and material delivery for electrical works.
Coordinate activities related to transformers, CT/PT, circuit breakers, isolators, protection systems, busbars, control panels, batteries and other substation equipment.
Review testing and commissioning requirements and coordinate with site teams.
Monitor quality, safety and compliance requirements related to electrical works.
Assist in resolving technical issues and site execution challenges.
Prepare and review project reports, MIS and progress updates for management.
Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants and project teams.
Ensure project activities are completed within the planned schedule and required quality standards.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in 220kV Substation projects.
Practical knowledge of Power Transmission & Distribution projects.
Good understanding of electrical equipment, substation systems and installation practices.
Knowledge of HT systems, protection systems, earthing, cabling and testing & commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical drawings and technical specifications.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Willingness to coordinate with and visit project sites as required.
