KAT Compliance Karma Private Limited in Mumbai seeks a senior delivery leader for Project/Product Manager – Technical Lead. The role focuses on taking a signed-off specification through build, testing and beta readiness, while building an in-house tech team to sustain it.

This is a delivery-leadership position reporting to the Founder & CEO, closely coordinating with the CA Product Manager owning business logic. Strong background in fintech/regtech is a plus.

About the Role

Project / Product Manager – Technical Lead. We're looking for a senior delivery leader to take our signed-off functional specification through to a built, tested, beta-ready product, and to build the in-house tech team that will sustain it. This is a delivery-leadership role, not a hands-on engineering role. You'll report to the Founder & CEO and work closely with our Chartered Accountant Product Manager, who owns the business logic.

Responsibilities

• Manage our external development agency: SLAs, change requests and escalations
• Plan, hire and build our internal tech team to reduce reliance on the agency
• Run Agile/Scrum delivery: sprint planning, backlog grooming, JIRA and sprint reviews
• Carry the signed-off Functional Specification Document (FSD) into build with no scope drift
• Own UI/UX finalisation and approval before development starts
• Lead compliance-focused testing so GST data flows into the right buckets, plus UAT and release notes
• Bridge the CEO and CA team with the technical team, keeping everyone on one documented understanding

Qualifications

• 10–15 years as a Project Manager or delivery lead

Required Skills

• A track record of managing external development agencies and building internal teams
• Hands-on Agile/Scrum and JIRA experience
• Ownership of SDLC documentation: FSD/BRD sign-off, UAT and release notes
• Strong communication across business and technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills

• Experience in fintech, RegTech, compliance software or ERP is a strong plus (not mandatory)
