Job summary

Sonepar India is seeking an experienced Project Manager for E&I/C&I projects. Based at a project site in Gujarat, you will lead execution, coordinate with vendors and customers, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining contractual obligations and high customer satisfaction.

You will drive MIS and costing reporting, monitor cash flows, and oversee risk mitigation, with frequent travel to client sites and partner locations as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate in instrumentation, electrical, electronics, or commissioning.
• 8–10 years' experience in project management for E&I/C&I projects.
• Fluent in business English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects and coordinate activities, conduct meetings, and make technical and commercial decisions with customers and site execution team.
• Develop systems for planning, scheduling, budgeting, billing, execution, reporting, commissioning, resource mobilization, and cost control.
• Ensure proper processes and monitor progress with corrective actions.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely execution without cost overruns.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commissioning Engineers, vendors, contractors, customers, and internal departments.
• Maintain contractual obligations, monitor inputs and feedback, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Manage billing targets, cash flows, invoice dispatches, and timely collection of payments.
• Prepare MIS, costing, operational, and billing reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for project execution, coordination, conducting meetings, and handling

technical and commercial discussions and decisions with customers as well as the

internal site execution team.

• Develops systems and procedures for project planning, scheduling, budgeting,

billing, execution, reporting, commissioning, resource mobilization, and cost

control, while ensuring successful and timely execution of projects.

• Ensure effective project execution by implementing proper processes, systems,

and procedures while monitoring project progress and taking corrective actions

when required.

without cost overruns through proper planning and cost-control measures.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commissioning

project execution.

ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Manage billing targets, cash flows, invoice dispatches, and timely collection of

payments from customers.

• Prepare and submit MIS reports, costing reports, operational reports, billing

reports, and ensure compliance with quality standards and industry practices.

ROLE LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate will be based on Project Site.
• Willingness to travel exceeds 70% of working time.
• Flexible to visit customer sites, partner locations, and industrial projects as per business

requirements.
